Description

NBHRF has partnership agreements with many other funding agencies. Researchers apply to the partner agency.  If they are successful, NBHRF will contribute a portion of the total grant or award as outlined in the formal agreement. 

Grant or Award amounts are based on the partner’s programs.

  • For Canada Foundation Innovation grants the maximum NBHRF contribution is set at $50,000.

In order to access NBHRF funds, a researcher must submit an application to the Partner’s Matching Fund by completing the NBHRF on-line application including a copy of their approved partner’s application together with approval letter and comments. Applicants must also submit a one-page plain language project summary, one page explanation of the relevance of the project/program to health related research in New Brunswick, and information on and breakdown of any other sources of funding for the project.

There is no application deadline for this program; decisions will normally be made within 6 weeks of submission of request.

Applicants must have obtained partner’s approval prior to submitting this application

Grant applications must be completed & submitted online through the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation funding portal.

Completion and submission of a Canadian Common CV validated (not a ‘draft’) for NBHRF is required. It must be downloaded from the Common CV website and then uploaded as an attachment to the NBHRF application.

Please ensure that your application is complete (including all required signatures and attachments).
